Cuba is a great birding destination. And many birds are fairly easy to get images of. Here is a Bee Hummingbird, the Zunzuncito, the smallest bird in the world at around 2.5 inches (6.4 cm) long, which is indeed only found in Cuba (Photo: Gerard Gorman).
The Doi Inthanon National Park in northern Thailand is a mountain region popular with birders. At the heart of the area, by the main road, is Mr Deang's Birding Visitor Centre, It is a simple, but friendly and great place to stay, with chalets, a restaurant and good information available, often from Mr. Deang himself, as well as from all the other birders who stay here or drop by.
Before joining any wildlife watching or birding tour, wherever in the world, try to establish if the travel company you are considering booking with operates in an environmentally friendly, responsible manner.
