Destinations: Velebit Nature Park - Croatia

The Velebit Nature Park covers a rugged area of the southern Velebit Mountains in Dalmatia. There are gorges, clear rivers, scrubby hillsides and patches of woodland. In summer there is a rich range of butterflies, a selection of reptiles and some endemic sub-Alpine plants. It is a great region for walking.
